Staff Director: Tom Naile 932-2859/ tom@stanngulfbreeze.org

Chairperson: Diana Odenbrett 934-9817/dianaodenbrett@bellsouth.net

The mission of the Family Life Commission is to raise awareness of and participation in family life ministries: advocating for family sensitivity in parish ministries and activities and strengthening family life by providing activities, support groups, and enrichment programs to meet the needs of families as they progress through the family life cycle. The commission promotes Christian family life by celebrating the diversity of family structures, responding to the assessed needs of its families, and encouraging a partnership between families and parish.

Bereavement

Coordinator Barbara McGlynn: 932-2709 /mrsbarbaramm@gmail.com

The Bereavement Ministry consists of assisting in the preparation of the Funeral Mass. We meet with family members and provide selections for the readings and music. We also act as facilitators during the Mass for the family giving direction as to the appropriate time to do readings and carrying the gifts to the altar. Our ministry is built on guiding the grieving through all processes of carrying out the final wishes for the departed and helping the family deal with the loss of their beloved.
