The Sacrament of Holy Communion is one of the sacraments of initiation. It is like baptism and confirmation because it brings us into the fullness of our life in Christ. We are required to receive Communion at least once per year during Easter. Receiving Communion more frequently increase our love for God, which, in turn, increase our love for our neighbor, shows in our actions and makes us more like Christ.
First Communion preparation is usually completed in your child’s second grade year. Please contact Rona Skelton, firstname.lastname@example.org, Faith Formation Director, for more information.
